PulseIC™ System
The PulseIC™ System is effective in preventing deep venous thrombosis (DVTs). It utilizes intermittent pressure to pump blood back up the leg. The unit is portable and extremely simple to administer and operate.

Indication
  • The PulseIC™ offers a clinically effective method for aiding increased venous blood flow and helping to prevent clot formation. Used before, during and after surgery, the PulseIC™ can help reduce the threat of DVT and pulmonary embolism (PE).

Contraindications
  • Known or suspected deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism
  • Acute stages of the inflammatory phlebitis process
  • Infection
  • Arterial occlusion
  • Instances where increased venous or lymphatic return is undesirable
  • Congestive heart failure
