FEATURES/BENEFITS

  • SAT™, a system of dynamic air chambers and cutoff valves, helps to maximize body weight displacement and minimize tissue interface pressure by automatically reacting to body movement, altitude and temperature by adjusting the internal air pressure.
  • Nine air cylinders offer additional support under the shoulders, seat and legs through non-powered pressure relief via nine zones of horizontal pressure distribution
  • Power Loss Protection gives uninterrupted pressure relief even in the event of an electrical power failure (alternating pressure and rotation not available without power) .
  • A sloped heel section helps to transfer weight off of the delicate heel and onto the calf and thigh area of the leg.
  • A firm perimeter provides seating support for the caregiver or patient.
  • Flexibility accommodates all Hill-Rom® TotalCare® bed frame movement.
  • Heel Section helps reduce the potential for heel breakdown and accommodates frame expansion/retraction.
  • Compatible for use on the Hill-Rom® TotalCare® bed frame.

Optional:

  • Alternating pressure helps to enhance capillary blood flow using a manifold system connected to every other cylinder and powered by an air pump (available on T-Series A & AR model).
  • Rotation helps to enhance pressure point relief through a platform turn of approximately 20° (available on T-Seies AR model).
