Our involvement in the community goes well beyond a corporate philosophy. It can be seen in the hearts and actions of our team members everyday. KCI’s volunteer efforts are led by our team members and are spearheaded through the actions of our KCI Volunteer Council. All team members are provided 16 hours per year of paid time to participate in community/charitable projects. We have hundreds of Team Members who volunteer significantly more of their own time to these worthwhile causes.
Some of the organizations we have sponsored include Boy Scouts of America, Habitat for Humanity, the San Antonio Food Bank, Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Texas Special Olympics, the San Antonio Children’s Shelter and Any Baby Can.
Of course, there is a reward for giving of our time and our money. That is simply knowing that we have helped make a difference to improve the life of someone in our community. After all, at the end of the day, that’s what KCI is all about.
