What kind of fabric is used for the patient surface of the PediDyne®?
The patient surface of the
PediDyne® is made of a "breathable" GORE-TEX® fabric with low air-loss therapy that provides pressure relief to help prevent and treat skin breakdown.

Can Kinetic Therapy™ help reduce costs in preventing pulmonary complications?
One study found an average cost savings of $6,695 per patient associated with
Kinetic Therapy™ in the reduction of lower respiratory tract infections1.

What therapies does the PediDyne® provide for my patient?
The PediDyne® provides four therapies: Kinetic Therapy™, Percussion Therapy, Pulsating Air Suspension Therapy™, and Pressure Relief Therapy.

What are the patient height and weight limitations for the PediDyne®?
The recommended maximum patient height is 43".  The minimum patient weight is 15 lbs. with a maximum of 60 lbs.  Children under 6 months of age should not be placed in the PediDyne®.

What are the indications for the PediDyne®?
The indication for
PediDyne® is the treatment and prevention of pulmonary complications associated with immobility, especially for patients who would benefit from a pressure relieving surface with the additional benefits of pulsation, percussion and continuous rotation from side to side, as well as mobilization of pulmonary secretions2 3.
