What therapies does the PediDyne® provide for my patient?
The PediDyne® provides four therapies: Kinetic Therapy™, Percussion Therapy, Pulsating Air Suspension Therapy™, and Pressure Relief Therapy.
What are the patient height and weight limitations for the PediDyne®?
The recommended maximum patient height is 43". The minimum patient weight is 15 lbs. with a maximum of 60 lbs. Children under 6 months of age should not be placed in the PediDyne®.
What are the indications for the PediDyne®?
The indication for PediDyne® is the treatment and prevention of pulmonary complications associated with immobility, especially for patients who would benefit from a pressure relieving surface with the additional benefits of pulsation, percussion and continuous rotation from side to side, as well as mobilization of pulmonary secretions2 3.
